Founded by Bruce Nash in 1994, Nash Entertainment has produced over 400 hours of quality television. During the past few years, Nash Entertainment has expanded into feature films. The company has projects in development at various Hollywood studios. These projects have attracted the attention of top production companies and attached some major stars.
Nash Entertainment seeks motivated, non-paid intern (credit required). Internship deals with the "business" side of producing and development. Interns will not be on a set. You will observe first hand the process of setting up feature film projects and as well as have constant exposure to film and television submissions and pitches. |
| Responsibilities: |
Work closely with producers in a small office. Gain development experience (reading scripts, research) and perform office duties.
HIGH VOLUME of handling phones, tracking submissions, providing research, copying, filing, general office duties. The most valuable aspect of this position is that we offer you the opportunity to pitch your ideas as potential projects for our company. No driving required. Perform other related duties as assigned. |
| Requirements: |
MUST BE A CREDIT ONLY INTERN (i.e. ENROLLED IN AN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM) THROUGH YOUR UNIVERSITY FOR CLASS CREDIT AND PROVIDE PROOF OF DOCUMENTATION.
- Have a strong desire to be exposed to producing and/or development
- Be available at least 3 days/wk between the hours of 9:00am and 6:30pm
- Must take direction well
- Be energetic and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Be familiar with Outlook and PC operating systems
- Must type a minimum 40 wpm
- Must have excellent verbal, analytical and written communication skills
- Be organized, very detail oriented, and have strong follow up skills
